Welcome to Cuttlefish QA. These Terms of Service govern your access to and use of our automated website testing, monitoring, and audit application provided by Cuttlefish QA LLC.
1. Account Registration & Security
To access website monitoring features, you must create an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials and for all activities conducted under your account.
2. Authorized Scanning & Acceptable Use
Our service executes automated HTTP checks, asset evaluations, and headless browser tests against target websites.
- Explicit Authorization: You represent and warrant that you own or have explicit authorization from the owner to scan, audit, and monitor any website or URL submitted to Cuttlefish QA.
- Prohibited Misuse: You agree not to use our platform to perform Denial of Service (DoS) attacks, exploit vulnerability scans, bypass security controls, or scan unauthorized third-party infrastructure.
- Scan Rate Limits: We reserve the right to throttle or suspend automated scans that impose excessive server loads or violate scanning etiquette.
3. Subscriptions, Fees, and Cancellations
Paid services are billed on a recurring monthly or annual subscription basis. You may cancel your subscription at any time through your dashboard. Service access remains active through the end of the current paid billing cycle.
4. Disclaimer of Warranties
Cuttlefish QA is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis. While we strive for continuous accuracy, we do not guarantee that our automated audits will identify every website error, broken script, or outage, or that our service will be completely uninterrupted.
5. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Cuttlefish QA shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, including loss of business revenue, customer conversions, or data resulting from website downtime or undetected errors.
6. Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, initiate unauthorized scans, or engage in abusive scanning practices.
